Sandra Pinkard
Managing Producer
Sandra Pinkard is the managing producer for The Diane Rehm Show and is responsible for selecting topics and booking guests for the program. She has been with the show since 1993, when it was a local Washington, D.C., show.

Nancy Robertson
Producer
Nancy Robertson joined The Diane Rehm Show as a producer in June 1998 after volunteering for the program for two years. She has many years' experience as a writer and editor, including 16 years as a freelancer and three years as a reporter for Knight-Ridder Financial News in Chicago, Washington, and London. Robertson graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in English. She writes scripts, conducts research, and helps develop program topics.

Jonathan Smith
Producer
Jonathan Smith joined The Diane Rehm Show as a volunteer in May 2001. In September 2002, he was named a producer of the program. Smith grew up just north of New York City and graduated from Grinnell College in 1987 with a degree in political science. He has lived in the Washington, D.C., area since 1989. Smith left a career in the legal and energy industries for a new start in public radio. He writes scripts, conducts research, and helps develop program topics.

Susan Nabors
Producer
Susan Nabors began work as a producer of The Diane Rehm Show in August 2008. After leaving a 10-year career as an architectural historian to raise her two children, Nabors' love of public radio led her to investigate volunteer opportunities at WAMU in July 2007. Nabors holds a master's degree in historic preservation from the University of Georgia and a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Xavier University in Cincinnati. She generates show ideas, researches program topics, writes scripts, and books guests.

Denise Couture
Producer
Denise Couture joined The Diane Rehm Show as a producer in April 2009. Couture, a Seattle native, began her career as a newspaper reporter working in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. After a four-year stint in Japan, she moved to the other Washington (D.C.) to make documentary films and teach writing. A longtime public radio fan, she’s delighted to be a part of the “Rehm Team” and enjoys the work that goes into creating first-rate radio programming for a national audience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in journalism, both from Columbia University.

Monique Nazareth
Producer
Monique Nazareth joined The Diane Rehm Show as a producer in October 2009. She moved to D.C. after working for almost 13 years as a producer on NPR's "Fresh Air with Terry Gross." Prior to joining "Fresh Air," Nazareth worked at the Christian Science Monitor Radio as the associate producer of  "Weekend Edition," and a news assistant. She holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa with a double major in journalism and mass communications and a minor in Portuguese.
